Peter Tierney

Peter Tierney is a Commissioning Editor in ITV's newly formed Reality Commissioning team. The team is responsible for titles such as Love Island, Big Brother and The Only Way is Essex.

Prior to joining ITV’s commissioning team Peter Tierney worked across numerous entertainment and reality shows including Dancing On Ice, I’m A Celebrity…, The X Factor and Love Island. He has also worked as a development producer throughout his career.

Tierney’s commissioning history is primarily noisy, younger-skewing entertainment and reality series. As well as commissioning Big Brother, Tierney has ordered the likes of Peckham's Finest, Secret Crush, Killer Camp and The Singles Table. His slate also includes various entertainment series such as Don't Hate The Playaz, The Stand Up Sketch Show, Apocalypse Wow and The Emily Atack Show.
