Juli Porter

Juli has over 20 years of production experience in the UK and the US, working on a range of top-rated entertainment shows including Dancing With The Stars, Strictly Come Dancing and Top Gear as well as flagship sports coverage for Formula 1, NFL and the Olympics.  

For 10 years Juli was COO of The Whisper Group which she grew from a tiny start-up into an award-winning group of six companies boasting a vast slate of sport, entertainment and documentary output. Whilst at Whisper she was instrumental in two sales, first to the Channel 4 Indie Growth Fund and, later, to Sony Pictures Entertainment. Among her many accomplishments she prioritised inclusion and diversity, helping to make Whisper one of Broadcast’s Best Places to Work for five years in a row.  

Juli joined Wildstar in early 2022 to grow the cultural and operational sides of the business and has since overseen the sale of a majority stake in the company to Fremantle.
