Angela Ferreira is the Managing Director of Douglas Road Productions and DEI Ambassador for Banijay UK.

In a career spanning 25 years which started at the BBC, Angela has worked across a broad range of programming and in a variety of roles. These include multi camera directing and drama script editing, to live event exec’ing and Commissioner at Channel 4.

Since joining Douglas Road, Angela has primarily concentrated on drama and documentary.  These titles include the drama-doc, ‘Una Marson: Our Lost Caribbean Voice’ about the first Black producer at the BBC,  the monologue series ‘Soon Gone: A Windrush Chronicle’,  a three parter, ‘ Race through Comedy’,  ‘Black Classical Music: The Forgotten History’, ‘ Forgotten Female Composers’, ‘Lenny Henry’s Caribbean Britain’, single film, ‘My Name is Leon’ and upcoming six part drama ‘ Three Little Birds’.

Angela is a Governor at The Brit School, the Chair of the RTS Diversity Committee and sits on the NFTS TV Advisory Board.
